We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Trainee to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop a career in electrical quantity surveying and estimation under the guidance of our experienced professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Role Overview
As a Graduate Trainee Electrical QS / Estimator, you will work closely with our engineers and project managers, learning the full scope of electrical project estimation and cost management. You will receive structured mentorship and on-the-job training throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and other relevant factors.
• Support the creation of electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software, under supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Review project specifications and blueprints to check accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary project information.
• Help prepare and submit accurate project bids and proposals.
• Develop knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in site visits and project meetings to build practical industry experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field — recently completed or awaiting results.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components gained through academic study.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or similar drafting software (academic or personal projects are welcome).
• Familiarity with cost estimation or quantity surveying principles, even at a theoretical level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
