A leading dynamic food processing and manufacturing organization dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our consumers is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and hands-on Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate shall conduct laboratory testing and quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished tomato paste, mango puree, and guava puree products to ensure compliance with food safety, nutritional and quality standards.
The incumbent will, among other things, be responsible for: -
• Testing & Analysis: Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses (e.g., moisture, protein, pH, and pathogen testing) on raw materials and finished goods.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor production lines and perform routine inline checks to ensure products comply with internal formulas and food safety regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and maintain a sterile and organized workspace.
• Documentation & Reporting: Log testing data, maintain batch records, and prepare detailed reports for the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to established quality and safety standards, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO systems.
• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience in a food processing laboratory is a distinct advantage.
