Job Description
We seek to recruit the following qualified and experienced Assistant Boilermaker based in Shamva.
About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Boilermaker to join our team based in Shamva. This position reports to the Boilermaker.
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist in the fabrication of metal components such as chutes, pipes, hoppers, and structural frameworks.
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and tack-welding under supervision.
• Mark out materials according to drawings and templates.
• Assist with fitting, aligning, and assembling components before full welding.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities by assisting in the repair of worn-out equipment
• Maintenance of tools in good working condition
•Carrying out all duties in compliance with and in support SHE (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within work areas always.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• 5 “O” 'Level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
• Class 2 Journeyman Certificate in Boilermaking or equivalent trade qualification
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
