Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Analysing Laboratory Technician, the Sampler is responsible for providing laboratory support by collecting coal samples following laid down Standard Operation Procedures. To perform any other duties are assigned by the superior.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Collects coal samples.
-Dries samples thoroughly.
-Prepares coal samples with standard industry processing methods established by Lab management and procedures.
-Carries out all duties safely, and in compliance with all legislations, codes, company policies and procedures.
-Any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 O’ Level Subjects including Maths and English.
• 3 years experience in a coal mining and mineral processing environment or Laboratory environment desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• A team player.
