Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome sector, has an exciting
and challenging career opportunity within its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals
to fill the following vacant post of Maintenance & Projects Clerk on a 1 year Fixed-Term
employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance.
MAINTENANCE & PROJECTS CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
❑ Creation of reservations using an ERP System for the maintenance mechanical,
electrical and projects works.
❑ Work order creation and tracking.
❑ Minutes taking in Maintenance & Projects related meetings.
❑ Preparation of reports for further reviews.
❑ Time sheets preparation.
❑ Records management, both manually and electronically

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
❑ At least 5 Ordinary level passes, including Mathematics and English.
❑ National Certificate in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering/Electrical Power
Engineering or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution. A National Diploma
is an added advantage.
❑ At least 2 years working experience in a mining or heavy manufacturing
environment.
❑ Good working knowledge and experience of an ERP system, preferably SAP.
❑ Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE
System being an added advantage.
❑ Must be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
❑ Holder of clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
