Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Business Department (Harare) for a Bank Teller. The successful candidate shall be responsible for processing front-line transactions, managing cash and attending to customers
Duties and Responsibilities
1.1 HANDLING FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
• accepting and verifying cash from clients
• switching of foreign currency
• paying out cash to clients
• processing world remit and bancassurance transactions
1.2 PREPARATION OF REPORTS
• Compile accurate reports for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ).
• Compile day – end reports
1.3 OPENING OF CLIENTS ACCOUNTS
• Receive and process account opening forms from clients.
• Collect and verify all necessary documentation is collected and verified
1.4 CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Attends to customer queries
• Market bank products and services to customer
• Engage with potential clients during outreach programs
1.5 CASH COLLECTIONS
• Collection of cash from other financial institutions
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Banking & Finance or related Business degree
At least two years' experience as Bank Teller
Clean Driver's licence is an added advantage
