Job Description

Following the outbreak of the COVID pandemic in 2020, the education sector has been severely impacted with Schools closing. As an organisation committed to achieving inclusive and quality education for all in line with SDGs goal 4 we have partnered with other stakeholders on a virtual learning program aimed at helping students’ access education. We therefore seek the services of Part time volunteer teachers to conduct our online classes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and issue educational content.
Supervise virtual classes.
Organize supplies and resources for lessons.
Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
Plan and implement online educational activities and events.
Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports.
Evaluate and document students’ progress.

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge, Skills & abilities

Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the Program
in written and oral form, including electronic media, using positive interpersonal skills.
Highly skilled at implementing exemplary educational practices resulting in demonstrated
student achievement gains.
Ability to organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes.
Ability to use effective strategies in differentiating instructions
Knowledge of the Zimbabwean Primary School curriculum.
Ability to establish and maintains cooperative working relationships with students, parents
and schools.
Demonstrate effective data-based problem solving skills.

Education

Candidates must possess a teaching certificate or relevant experience in teaching Primary School Students.
