Kutama College (St. Francis Xavier Kutama College) is a private Catholic independent boy’s boarding school in the Zvimba area, Diocese of Chinhoyi. Qualifications and Experience
Required Skills and Competencies
A degree in the relevant subject
Have at least a diploma teaching qualification
At least five years teaching experience. Experience in teaching the relevant Cambridge syllabus is an added advantage
Excellent communication skills
Be a motivated individual who strongly values collective effort in achieving organizational goals
Be willing to work and appreciate all duties of a teacher in a full boarding set up.
Be in sympathy with the Catholic ethos and traditions.
ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. FRENCH
Vast knowledge of the language
Be passionate about making French Language accessible to all students
2. COMPUTER SCIENCE/ICT
Enthusiastic and proactive with vast skills to revamp the ICT system in the institution.
Skills range (web authoring, Programming, Database management, Graphics design)
Ability to teach Mathematics at junior levels
3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
Be well versed in current set books for ‘O’ level Cambridge
4. ART
Be able to teach English Language at junior levels as well
