A well established , leading and reputable group carrying out various civil works projects in road construction &maintenance , housing and infrastructure development , commercial buildings &,mining is urgently recruiting Site Foremans to carryout site works and supervision across its diverse projects around the country.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties
• Site Supervision – Provide fulltime on site management of labourers , heavy machinery operators , materials and sub- contractors ensuring that the projects are on course safely and within budget.
• Task Execution – Ensures that all grading and compaction ,trenching, back filling or other civil works across projects match exact engineering drawings , levels and specifications.
• Resource Coordination – Oversee the allocation of Construction plants , earth moving equipment , materials &fuel while minimizing machine down time.
• Safety and Compliance – Conduct daily safety talks , enforce strict safety regulations and perform routine hazard assessments to keep the team safe.
• Progress Reporting – Produce daily schedules , truck, resources , expenditures &report project updates to site engineers &management.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
• Experience – Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands on Civil Construction across a range of projects in road construction , housing &infrastructure development , commercial buildings , civil works and mining.
• A Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology from a reputable institution.
• Soft Skills – Strong problem solving , team leadership and clear conflict resolution and communication skills.
