Job Description
A Rider who oversees the work of Security Guards in order to ensure that their duties are done correctly such that there is maximum security at designated sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Safely transports personnel to desired and approved destinations including collecting and/or delivering packages.
• Conducts regular inspections to ensure that Security Guards are performing in accordance to appropriate guidelines.
• Orients new Security Guards and selects appropriate guards to specific locations.
• Identifies training needs and schedules training programs to ensure all Security Guards are efficient in the dispensation of their duties.
• Keeps Security Guards up to date with any new procedures, requirements and/or regulations.
• Monitors Security Guards performance to ensure they meet their key performance indicators.
• In conjunction with the Control Room ensures that all sites are manned at all times.
• Ensures that Security Guards are maintaining accurate and up to date records of e.g. O.B, reports, visit schedules, registers etc.
• Performs site inspections and enquires about the performance of Guards from the Client.
• Ensures that Security Guards are presentable at all times.
• Adheres to and enforces company rules and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
i. At least 2 years experience as a Supervisor in the Security Industry
ii. Class 3 drivers license
iii. 5 'O' level passes
