The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing online and offline marketing activities, coordinating branch sales performance, and strengthening customer engagement across the business. The role is Harare-based, with oversight of sales and marketing activities for other branches nationally, currently Mutare and Gweru.
The incumbent will be expected to achieve monthly sales targets, manage digital sales leads from platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and the company website, and implement non-online marketing initiatives such as flyers, cold calling and client contact harvesting. The role will also involve developing targeted sales and marketing campaigns for different customer segments, including homes, schools, hotels, bars, sports clubs, resellers, corporates, parastatals and government departments.
In addition, the Sales & Marketing Officer will coordinate branch sales processes, monitor stock levels and shop presentation, review branch performance, conduct after-sales customer care, and gather market intelligence to support competitive pricing and promotional strategies within the Zimbabwean market.
Drive sales growth and support achievement of business targets.
Manage online marketing campaigns and sales leads from digital platforms.
Conduct offline marketing activities, including flyers, cold calling and client contact development.
Develop sales and marketing campaigns tailored to different customer segments.
Follow up on prospective customers and convert enquiries into sales.
Provide after-sales customer care and support to customers.
Coordinate and standardise sales processes across branches.
Monitor branch stock levels, shop presentation and customer service standards.
Review branch sales performance and report key issues to Management.
Conduct market intelligence and monitor competitor activity.
Recommend pricing, promotional and product strategies suited to market conditions.
Support the development of marketing materials such as flyers, catalogues, posters and banners.
2+ years experience in Sales/Marketing with demonstrable track record of Sales growth performance, preferably in manufacturing, furniture or high value retail goods.
Degree or qualification in Marketing, Business or Similar is a strong advantage
