Bak Logistics is seeking a results-driven Procurement Specialist to oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring the timely availability of materials and supplies at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
This role sits within TSL Group's wider digital transformation agenda. Routine procurement administration is increasingly supported by digital tools, freeing the postholder to focus on strategic sourcing supplier negotiation and cost optimisation
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
• Drive supplier negotiations and cost-effective sourcing agreements
• Optimise procurement expenditure and monitor cost variances
• Use procurement systems and data analytics to drive efficiency, transparency and faster decision-making
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Monitor vendor performance and strengthen supplier relationships
• Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing practices
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Professional certification (eg CIPS) is an added advantage
• 3-5 years' experience in procurement, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry
• Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation, cost control and procurement compliance
• Comfortable working with e-procurement platforms and data-driven decision-making tools
