Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position:
PROCUREMENT MANAGER HEAD OFFICE
SUMMARY
The position is responsible for management of procurement function.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides strategic procurement advisory
Development and implementation of the procurement policies
Procurement Risk Management
Preparation and management of annual procurement plan and budget Preparation and presentation of tender documents and evaluation reports
Interface with Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe Attends to suppliers' queries
Negotiates contracts with suppliers : Supervision of procurement staff.

Results oriented
• Computer literacy (Microsoft office word, excel, and outlook)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Working knowledge of Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act -PPDPA Act [Chapter 22:23]
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP and any procurement software systems
• Knowledge of Business Management Systems (Quality, Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health) is an added advantage
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Degree in Procurement/Purchasing and Supply Management or equivalent
• Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)/ a professional Diploma in Procurement/Purchasing Supply
• MBA/Relevant Master's Degree an added advantage
• At least ten (10) years working experience in a Public Procurement environment of which 5 years must be at
Management Level.
• A clean class four driver's licence
