GreenFuel Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated Millwright to oversee the operations of our feed plant and boiler shop. The ideal candidate will ensure the maintenance and optimization of our manufacturing equipment, focusing on safety and efficiency. This role is vital for supporting operations and executing projects within the Harvesting Department.
• Take full charge of the feed plant and boiler shop operations.
• Ensure the proper, safe, and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment.
• Test, calibrate, install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
• Perform general maintenance on plant equipment and related designs.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements at all times.
• Interpret and implement quality requirements for machinery.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to keep production equipment and facilities functional, in accordance with the company’s Planned Maintenance system.
• Conduct emergency maintenance during production as needed.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns and recommend preventive measures.
• Carry out machinery modifications and upgrades through fabrication.
• Fit machine parts such as bearings, valves, drives, and sensors during scheduled maintenance or projects.
• Complete work orders and assist the Foreman in updating maintenance records.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• National certificate in Millwright work.
• Millwright class 1 journeyman card.
• At least three years post-apprenticeship experience in the manufacturing industry; knowledge of feed mixing machines is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and boiler fabrication work.
• Computer literacy.
• Membership in a professional body is preferred.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Middle-aged candidates are preferred.
