Job Description

We are looking for a self motivated and hardworking individual to fill in a Pastry Chef Job Position that has arisen within Fairy Cafe

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working with other chefs
Prepares bread and pastries
Preparing doughs & filling
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
Ensure bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
Developing new and unique seasonal recipes
Review production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily
Prepare and cook food according to Cafe recipes, quality, standards
Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance

Qualifications and Experience

Tourism and Hospitality Degree/Diploma
2 years working experience
Excellent proven training skills
