Job Description
A local Welfare Organization based in Waterfalls, Harare is looking for a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Outreach Nurse (RGN) on Fixed-Term Contract basis. The person should be able to commence work on 01 January 2022 and must meet the following specifications:
Minimum two (2) years post Midwifery qualification experience and knowledge in working with people living with HIV&AIDS, SHRH and Vulnerable Children & Adults
Report writing skills
Community mobilization and facilitation skills
Computer literate and exposure to HER system
Class four (4) Driving License
No criminal record
Registered with relevant professional councils/bodies
Duties and Responsibilities
Assessing, developing and implementing relevant interventions
HIV testing & counselling, treatment and ART adherence support.
Community mobilization of beneficiaries and stakeholders
Mentoring of junior team members and community care givers
Networking with other relevant organizations and stakeholders
Producing Results Based reports
Qualifications and Experience
Registered General Nurse Diploma
Post basic qualification Midwifery
Qualifications in Counselling, ART Management and/or Opportunistic Infections are added advantage
