Marketing and Business Development Manager
REPORTS TO : Managing Director
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Business Development
Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies to drive growth, increase brand
awareness, and expand our customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to
promote the company’s products and services, including market research, competitor
analysis, and marketing mix development.
Brand Management: Manage and maintain the company’s brand, including brand
positioning, brand identity, and brand messaging.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including
partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
Customer Engagement: Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to build
strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends,
customer needs, and competitor activity.
Digital Marketing: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including social
media marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Budget Management: Manage the marketing and business development budget, including
planning, tracking, and reporting on expenses.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the
success of marketing and business development initiatives.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including sales, production, and
customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
10. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on marketing and business
development performance, including progress against KPIs and recommendations for future
initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing and business development,
preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry.
3. Skills:
 Strong marketing and business development skills
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Ability to think strategically and creatively
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software
4. Certifications: Certification in marketing or business development, such as CIM or MBA,
is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment: The Marketing and Business Development Manager will work in a fast-paced office environment, with frequent travel to customer sites and industry events.
Physical Demands: The Marketing and Business Development Manager will be required to
sit for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 10 kg.
Work Schedule: The Marketing and Business Development Manager will work a standard
45-hour workweek, with occasional overtime required to meet deadlines or attend industry
events.
