Description
The University seeks to engage a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Full Professor in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Animal Production and Health
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute significantly to teaching, research, curriculum development, innovation and industrialization activities
Participate in community outreach activities
Participate in animal production income-generating activities
Supervise students’ research projects
Invigilate examinations
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the department or University administration
Qualifications and Experience

A Masters degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) or Master of Science in Animal Science or Animal Health or a related field
A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) Degree or Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours Degree in Veterinary Anatomy or BSc (Hons) Degree in Veterinary Biochemistry or BSc (Hons) Degree in Veterinary Physiology or BSc (Hons) Degree in Animal Health and Production or BSc (Hons) Degree in Animal Health and Production Extension, or a related field
A PhD in Veterinary Science or Animal Science or a related field will be an added advantage
The incumbent should be able to teach the following modules: Anatomy and Physiology of Farm Animals, Animal Health and Welfare, Veterinary Diagnostics and Pharmacology, Veterinary Immunology, Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health
At least Six (6) months University Teaching experience
A record of scholarly contribution in at least one refereed journal will be an added advantage
