The Harare Institute of Public Health (HIPH) invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individuals for the position of Lecturer – Mortuary Sciences.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Mortuary Sciences modules at National Certificate (NC) level.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, practical demonstrations and laboratory sessions.
• Develop teaching materials and assessment instruments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, ethical and professional standards during practical training.
• Supervise student practicals, research projects and industrial attachment.
• Participate in curriculum review, moderation and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to departmental development.
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's in Mortuary Sciences, Funeral Services Management, Anatomy, Biomedical Sciences or a related field. • A Master's in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
• A teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
• Relevant professional registration and industry experience will be an added advantage. General Requirements
