Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold at least:
* A Doctoral Degree in Animal Science.
* A Master’s Degree in Animal Science/Dairy Science.
* A relevant first degree with at least a 2.1 degree classification.
Successful candidates must be able to teach at least three of the following undergraduate modules using online and/or face-to-face methods:
* Animal Breeding
* Reproductive Technologies
* Animal Genetics
They must also teach Animal Breeding at MSc level.
Teaching experience at tertiary or university level is mandatory.
Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher and Tertiary Education will be an added advantage. Successful applicants without this qualification will be required to obtain it within the first three (3) years of appointment.
