1. Land Survey Technician
Department: Spatial Planning and Development
Reporting To: The Chief Surveyor
Job Purpose:
To assist in carrying out surveying and land-related activities within the Council's jurisdiction.
Job Related
Qualifications and Experience:
A National Certificate in Land Surveying, Surveying, Geomatics or a related field from a recognised institution.
At least two years of relevant practical experience in surveying.
Experience in cadastral surveying and land administration procedures.
Ability to operate surveying equipment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or related CAD software.
A valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Key Competencies:
Technical proficiency in land surveying.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret surveying data.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
