Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome sector, has an
exciting and challenging career opportunity within its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining
Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals
to fill the following vacant post of Issuing Clerk on a Fixed-Term employment contract
basis, renewable subject to performance.
ISSUING CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Receiving of stock items, physically checking the quality and quantity of received
items against documentation, recording the received items, and updating inventory
records.
 Issuing of requested stock items though receiving requests on SAP, locating the
requested items, recording the transactions, and handing over the requested stock
items.
 Receiving, issuing and managing fuel stock, documenting fuel movements, and
ensuring accurate fuel distribution for all pool vehicles and for contractors.
 Acquittal of Stores requisitions.
 Filing of reports.
 Stock taking.
 General housekeeping of the warehouse.

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 A Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent from a reputable tertiary
institution plus at least 2 years post qualification experience in a manufacturing or
mining environment.
 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit and an ERP system, preferably SAP
Material Module will be an added advantage
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE
System being an added advantage.
 Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
 Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence a must.
