Job Description
The successful applicants will undergo a 2-year intensive training with special focus on water supply, irrigation and drainage engineering for both Chisumbanje and Middle Sabi Estates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Supervisor(s), the GT will be responsible for the following:
• Designing and modifying new and existing water supply, irrigation and drainage systems.
• Installing water supply, irrigation and drainage systems.
• Managing water reticulation operations.
• Managing agronomic irrigation practices for sugarcane crops under various irrigation systems.
• Repairing and maintaining irrigation and drainage structures and components.
Qualifications and Experience
• A degree in Agricultural Engineering / Irrigation / related with at least 2.1 class
• Recent graduates Aged 30 and below.
• Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, with high knowledge of safe working standards and housekeeping.
• A team player.
