CROPPING & HORTICULTURE MANAGER
Location: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Employment Type: Full-time position

PURPOSE
Produce crops that consistently meet customer requirements for quality, availability and value.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan seasonal production around customer demand.
* Maximise yield while maintaining quality.
* Improve soil health and long-term productivity.
* Manage irrigation and fertiliser programmes efficiently.
* Implement integrated pest and disease management.
* Coordinate harvesting and post-harvest handling.
* Minimise losses throughout the production cycle.
* Develop cropping systems that improve profitability and sustainability.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager is expected to:
* Build capable, engaged and accountable teams.
* Develop supervisors and future leaders.
* Create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
* A National Diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Horticulture, Crop Science, Agronomy, or Agribusiness.
* A clean driver’s licence.

Customer Experience
* Customer satisfaction and feedback.
* On-time delivery performance.
* Product quality complaints.
* Internal customer satisfaction from supported departments.
* Responsiveness to customer issues.
