Job Description
CUT-Agro Pvt Ltd, a strategic business unit of Chinhoyi University of Technology, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following key management positions:
BLOCK-LICK AND MEDICINAL FEED FACTORY MANAGER
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the complete production line of livestock block-licks, mineral supplements, and medicinal/medicated feeds and other livestock feeds.
Manage raw material sourcing, formulation adherence, mixing processes, and quality control.
Ensure optimal operation, maintenance, and safety of processing machinery and plant infrastructure.
Collaborate with research and technical teams to develop and refine innovative livestock nutritional and therapeutic feed products.
Manage stock levels, supply chain logistics, and cost-effective production scheduling.
Supervise plant staff and enforce strict occupational health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Production and Technology/Animal Science, Feed Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' supervisory or management experience in feed manufacturing or agro-processing plant operations.
Expertise in feed formulation, mixing technology, and quality control protocols.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and operational efficiency skills.
