Job role
Duties and Responsibilities
Complies with SHEQ regulations as per the SHEQ policy and ISO Standards.
Contributes to manpower planning and administration in liaison with departments.
Contributes to the development and review of human resources policies, procedures, standards and strategies and implementing the same.
Conducts interviews.
Prepares contracts of employment.
Provides advice to managers and employees on labour issues, employment laws, policies and procedures.
Maintains employees’ hierarchies.
Compiles weekly and monthly Human Resource related reports.
Manages NSSA, Pension, Group Life and Group Accident Cover benefits.
Conducts all Corporate Social Responsibility activities and Stakeholder Management.
Looks after the welfare of employees and conducts Wellness programs.
Conducts retirement planning counseling for employees.
Supports the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Provides counseling on policies and procedures.
Prepares and maintains Job descriptions and manages the hiring process.
Creates and implements effective on boarding plans.
Develops training and development programs.
Assists and manages the performance management process.
Supports the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Maintains the employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Ensures working conditions comply with legal requirements.
Administers the Pension Fund Board of Trustees;
Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
BSc Honours Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or equivalent
Membership of a professional body is preferred
