We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled teachers who can teach students in at least two of the subjects: History, Sociology, and English. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students from Form 1 to Advanced Level, ensuring they develop a deep understanding of the subjects, critical thinking skills, and a passion for learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to adapt their teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in at least two of the following subjects: History, Sociology, and English, for students from Form 1 to Advanced Level.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and intellectual curiosity.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including national and international qualifications.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Support and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programs, such as debate clubs, history societies, or creative writing workshops.
Person Specification:
A degree in History, Sociology, English, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching at least two of the specified subjects (History, Sociology, English) at secondary and Advanced Level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable:
Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum or other international curricula.
Familiarity with modern educational technologies and digital learning tools.
A track record of contributing to extracurricular activities or school events.
