Helpline Volunteers
Volunteer | Harare & Bulawayo | 116 National Child Helpline & Lifeline
Your Role
Answer calls to the 116 National Child Helpline & Lifeline in a professional, respectful, patient and child-friendly way.

Qualifications and Experience
What We Need
* Minimum 5 O’ Levels including English.
* A qualification and significant experience in counselling and working with children and families.
* Knowledge of child protection, child development, child rights and mental health.
* Speak at least 2 national languages of Zimbabwe.
* Calm and composed in stressful, emotional situations.
* Great listening skills and the ability to show empathy over the phone.
* Able to take at least 10 shifts in a month.
* Computer literacy.
