We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Hand-Housekeeping. The purpose of the General Hand is to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment by carrying out routine cleaning and housekeeping duties in accordance with established hygiene, infection control, and safety standards, thereby supporting quality patient care and the well-being of staff and visitors whilst maintaining confidentiality.
-Cleaning and sanitizing wards, offices, corridors, and common areas
-Ensuring proper disposal of waste according to hospital guidelines
-Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
-Supporting a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors
-Reporting maintenance or safety issues when identified
5 O’ Levels including English
Certificate in housekeeping or equivalent
Basic literacy and ability to follow instructions
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
Good personal hygiene and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and willing to work shifts including night shifts
Must be able to use cleaning equipment e.g. floor polishers
Laundry experience is an added advantage
