Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work. Holders of a Doctoral degree in Social Work have an added advantage. Successful applicants must have teaching experience at tertiary or university level and be able to teach at least four (4) of the following modules: Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare, Human Behaviour and the Social Environment, Ethics and Values in Social Work, Introduction to Social Work with Individuals and Families, Introduction to Social Work with Communities , Introduction to Social Work with Groups, Socio Economic Development, Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Social Work Practice with Individuals and Families, Advanced Social Work Practice with Communities, Social Policy, Management and Administration of Social Welfare Organisations Integrated Fields of Social Work Practice, Child Protection, Introduction to Field Work, Social Work Case Management Practice. Social Work and Human Security, Social Work Practicum and Seminar and Psychopathology and Counselling for Generalist Practice.
