Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexography Printer to join our dynamic team specializing in the production of high-quality polywoven bags. The ideal candidate will have experience that includes operating BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) printing machines and be proficient in mixing inks to achieve vibrant and accurate colors for our products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
.Operate BOPP Printing Machine: Set up, operate, and maintain the flexographic printing machine used for printing on polywoven bags. Ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
.Ink Mixing: Accurately mix inks according to specifications to produce the desired color outputs. Monitor ink viscosity and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal printing quality.
.Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to ensure they meet company standards for quality and consistency. Identify any defects or issues during the printing process and take corrective actions.
.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the printing machinery, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
.Collaboration: Work closely with design teams to understand print requirements and provide feedback on printability of designs. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.
.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, ink usage, and any maintenance performed on equipment.
.Setting of rubbers on the machine
Qualifications and Experience
2year+ as a Printing Machine Operator
Proven experience as a flexography printer or in a similar role within the packaging industry.
Strong knowledge of BOPP printing processes and techniques is an added advantage
Familiarity with ink mixing procedures and color matching.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
