Finance Manager - Cimas Health Group (Pvt) Ltd
Job Summary
Cimas Health Group (Pvt) Ltd wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Finance Manager that has arisen in the Group.
The Finance Manager will provide financial reporting and management oversight for the assigned division in line with the business Strategic intent, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing the operational and financial plans for the assigned division.
• Performing detailed data analytics on major revenue and expenditure lines, including root-
• Preparing the divisional budgetary assumptions (such as membership, contribution rates and tariffs) guided by the group budgetary framework.
• Collating information for capital expenditure plans, estimating and rationalising the CAPEX budget in line with projected revenue and cashflows.
• Establishing a control environment to ensure that the division's financial records are accurate
• Maintaining stakeholder relationships by meeting members, service providers, banks and suppliers to improve stakeholder experience.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual Finance Reports to analyse the performance of the business.
• Reviewing weekly claims payment runs for adjudication accuracy and adherence to
medical aid scheme rules.
Qualifications and Experience
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail, with capacity to produce accurate reports and the ability to work on tight deadlines and display sound independent judgement. Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI a must.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Accounting Degree or equivalent.
• Professional Accounting qualification- CIMA/CA/ACCA
• At least 6-8 years' experience in Finance management or similar.
