Job Description
Position of Estate Manager
Based at an Estate in Vumba, a position for an Estate Manager has arisen in an agri-business group, with five subsidiaries. The position requires insightful and
energetic leadership, a result-oriented team player with exceptional relationship management and a strategic hands-on approach to transform and position the Estate as an enviable agricultural entity in Zimbabwe within the next three years.
Duties and Responsibilities
2. The specific skills for the job entail:
a) A strategic thinker to provide effective and transformative leadership to the Estate.
b) Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills.
c) Superior Public Affairs and Public Relationship skills.
d) Distinct Agronomy skills particularly in Poultry, Timber and Macadamia,.
e) A good understanding of Finance issues.
f) Demonstrated Strategic Human Resources Management skills.
g) Good appreciation of Corporate Governance.
Qualifications and Experience
3. The Qualifications of this position includes any of the following: Agriculture or Agro-forestry qualification at least at diploma level: an undergraduate degree in any of the specific areas being an added advantage, while proven experience of at least five years in a management position is apre-requisite.
Possession of a Clean Class 4 driver's license is a must.
