Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies that have arisen in the Agency

Post : Director-Human Resource
Reporting to the Director-General, the Director Human Resource will be responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategyin support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Agency, specifically in the areas of change management, learning and development, organizational and performance management, talent management, succession planning and compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Formulation,review,implementation and monitoring of Human Resources Policies and Procedures to meet the human capital needs of the Agency.
2. Development and implementation a human resources strategic plan, covering recruitment and selection,learning and development,employee performance management and appraisal system.
3.Ensuring that the Agency meets its performance targets by strategically gauging staff morale, health and safety and addressing organizational issues to increase organizational effectiveness and improved health through planned interventions in the Agency’s processes.
4.Co-ordination and monitoring of the Agency Strategic Planning Process and Annual Work plans.
5.Provision of leadership and consulting support to directorate and management on maters of reinforcing culture, setting goals, developing policy, and implementing strategic objectives.

6.Building and alignment of structures, employee and divisional roles and responsibilities to achieve the goals of the Agency.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• First degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent from a reputable University
• A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Atleastfive(5)yearsrelevantpost-qualificationexperienceinhumanresource practice of which two (2)should have been at managerial level.
Person Specification
• In-depth knowledge and application of Zimbabwean Labour Laws, Human Resource Systems and databases is a must.
• Possession of strong negotiation, conflict resolution and counselling skills.
• Demonstrate high degree of integrity and professionalism
