Job Description
Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has an exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Shurugwi and Mutorashanga Mining Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to fill the vacant post of Claims Inspector on contract basis, renewable subject to performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
To accurately inspect and maintain Zimasco Mining Claims beacons.
Monitor illegal mining activities
Provide boundary verification services
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
At least 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
Clean Class 4 Drivers’ License
A valid DDC certificate will be an added advantage
Should have a working knowledge of map reading.
Certificate of Registration as an Approved Prospector (C.R.A.P) will be an added advantage.
Good Disciplinary & Safety Record
