The CCTV Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, monitoring live and recorded footage, reporting incidents or suspicious activities, and liaising with relevant authorities when necessary.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and observe activities at clients’ premises and properties in real time.
• Detect, investigate, and report suspicious behaviour, criminal activities, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
• Operate and maintain CCTV systems, review recorded footage, and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Respond promptly to alerts and emergency situations by following established procedures and notifying the relevant personnel.
• Coordinate with security personnel on the ground, client representatives, emergency services, and other stakeholders during incident responses.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure efficient security operations.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements relating to security and surveillance operations.
• Minimum of 5 O-Level passes.
• Certificate or Diploma in Security Management, Information Technology Systems, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in CCTV operations, surveillance, security monitoring, or a related role.
