We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business development and Partnerships Officer to join our team and spearhead resource mobilization efforts.
Job Description
Position Summary: Multi-Aid Support Organization (MASO) is looking for a qualified Business development and Partnerships Officer with experience in ensuring smooth internal projects operations while building and managing strategic partnerships that strengthen the organization's impact. This role combines administrative oversight, financial accountability, and stakeholder engagement to support program delivery and expand the organization's resource base.

Job Purpose
The main function of the position is to ensure the internal systems run efficiently while building and sustaining strategic collaborations that expand the organization's reach, resource base and impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Prepare concise conceptual notes for the preparation of funding proposals that include the logical framework, performance indicators, monitoring and evaluation plan budgets as per funder requirements.
•Be responsible for the entire process of preparing proposals including research and participation in meetings with partners during development and writing of proposals.
•Design and analyze the budgets to ensure viability, alignment with data requirements and alignment with MASO finance policies.
•Ensure compliance with deadlines associated with the proposal preparation process.
•Ensure compliance with donor requirements, track deliverables, and assist MEAR prepare timely reports.
Contribute to MASO's fundraising strategy, aligning resource mobilization with organizational priorities.
Conduct research and identify new sources of funding.

Qualifications and Experience

•Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
•Minimum 3-5 years' experience in grants management, fundraising, or resource mobilization within the NGO sector.
Proven track record of successful proposal writing and securing donor funding.
Strong knowledge of donor landscapes (USAID, EU, UN agencies, foundations, corporates).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with grant management systems.
