Job Description
As a key member of the Technical team, the candidate will be responsible for creating full set engineering drawings, one lines, wire schedules, PV system analysis and conducting solar project feasibility studies and drafting designs for solar system using AutoCAD as well as other design programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Install, inspect maintain and repair solar systems
• Create or interpret solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation and where
all of the components will be laid out
• Educating clients on the operation and maintenance of the solar system
• Testing new products
• Drafting electrical one-line diagrams, panel system designs and conduct System Analysis.
• Creating PV Wire schedule and create equipment detail sheets.
• Gaining deep knowledge of PV system components like modules, racking, inverters and BOS.
• Determine materials equipment and installation sequences necessary to maximum installation
efficiency
• In addition to these technical skills, being a good customer representative and paying attention to
detail and a strong work ethic is lucrative
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Renewable Energy
• Class 4 Driver’s license with at least 2years experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
