VACANCY NOTICE
POSITION : SEWER RETICULATION ENGINEER (1 POSITION)
GRADE : 5
LOCATION : OLD MUTUAL HOUSE
DEPARTMENT : HARARE WATER
REPORTS TO : HEAD WASTE WATER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above vacant position.
Duties and Responsibilities
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for the sewer reticulation system in the City of Harare.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
• Planning for the infrastructure of wastewater reticulation.
• Management operation and maintenance of the wastewater reticulation system.
• Monitors statistics on wastewater reticulation blockages.
• Checks and recommends for approval of design drawings and documents prepared by subordinate technical staff and consultants.
• Supervision of subordinates and engineering consultants.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• Corporate Membership of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers or any relevant Institution and registration with Engineering Council of Zimbabwe.
At least five (5) years post qualifying experience, a major part of which must have been in water engineering and management.
• Computer literacy in engineering software AutoCAD, MS Project and Microsoft Packages.
• Experience in management of engineering
Projects is essential.
• A clean class four Driver's License.
