Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support to field assessors, underwriting and claims teams
2. Conduct surveys and inspections of all crop and livestock risks
3. Prepare training material in conjunction with reinsurers
4. Provide advice on risk management, field management
5. Represent the company at agricultural shows, farmers/field days and other relevant forums to build a good customer relationship and retention
6. Facilitate trainings on various product offerings
7. Any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal position holder should possess the following
competencies, skills a experience:
A Degree in Agronomy/ Agricultural Science
A minimum of 5 years' post graduate working experience on commercial farms and/or registered Agricultural Institutions A good understanding of agricultural economics and analytical skills
Results driven, dependable and strong leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Be an articulate and effective communicator across all levels of business
Excellent marketing skills
