About Zvandiri

is registered by the PVO Board as a private voluntary organization, (PVO09/2007) working in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) is delivering the Zvandiri model of community, clinic-based and digital health services, , to young people living with HIV. We believe Zvandiri, an evidence-based model that connects young people with trained, mentored peers provides a holistic approach that is innovative and ensures sustainable impact. At the core of this peer model are the Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS), who are HIV-positive 18-24 year old, trained and mentored peer counsellors who offer support to increase the availability, uptake and quality of treatment, care and support services for young people living with HIV. The model complement the public health sector as part of the multi-sectorial response across the HIV treatment and care cascade led by the Government of Zimbabwe (GOZ). In addition to the CATS , the programme has young mentor mothers (
