Background

ZCDC is a Private Limited Company, wholly owned by the Government of Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development which has 100% shareholding in the company.

The Company was established in 2015 under the Companies Act of Zimbabwe (Chapter 24.03) after the Government consolidated all the diamond mining concessions in Chiadzwa.

ZCDC currently has operations in the Chiadzwa area and in Chimanimani, and is conducting extensive exploration and evaluation across Zimbabwe in search of Kimberlite pipes which can be mined economically.
