The Union Zimbabwe Trust is a local non-profit organisation established to advance health solutions for populations in poverty. The organisation was registered in Zimbabwe in February 2019 as a private voluntary organisation and has been operating in the country since 2009 as the International Union Against
Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). The Union Zimbabwe Trust has been working with the National TB program offering technical, managerial and financial support towards the TB response. The organisation is involved from the planning, implementation and evaluation of various interventions in the TB response with focus mainly on finding missing TB patients, TB-HIV integration, political commitment, programmatic management of Drug Resistant TB, monitoring and evaluation as well as research and surveillance.
We work towards the total eradication of TB in Zimbabwe which is a public health problem in the country. We want to see an end to it.
