Objectives
The Ministry is responsible for mines and mining developments in Zimbabwe. The following departments fall under the Ministry: metallurgy, mining law and administration, mining promotion and development, geological survey. Ministry of Mines and Mining Development is also responsible for survey and exploration of all minerals for mining and metallurgy of non-ferrous metals like aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, gold and nickel.
