Job Description
Our client in the manufacturing sector is for a Workshop Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Heading the workshops and managing staff in the department
• Allocating tasks to all department members
• Planning and following through on scheduled maintenance plans for machinery
• Attending to urgent breakdowns so production stops are to the bare minimum.
• Keep clean updated records of maintenance, breakdowns and other workshop related tasks carried out.
• Presenting reports to the factory manager and assistant manager.
• Keeping records of tools and machinery.
Qualifications and Experience
• 4 years’ experience post apprenticeship.
• At least 4 years’ experience in plastic injection equipment
• Previous experience in factory maintenance is required.
• Previous experience as a Turner machinist/ Toolmaker
• At least 2 years’ experience is supervisory role
