WORKSHOP MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance and repair of all vehicle fleet, including Tractors, Trailers, Pivots,
boreholes, Generators, and all the other farming equipment.
• Ensure that the equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable working condition
following the planned preventive maintenance program and identify and rectify
repetitive problems through the support of O.E.M.
• Ensures all injuries are reported timely, properly investigated, measures taken to
prevent future injuries, and good housekeeping practices throughout
the workshop.
• Review new equipment for suitability and make recommendations, based on cost,
availability, and needs of business operations.
• Ensure that planning, scheduling, and unscheduled repairs are carried out efficiently
and cost-effectively, with quality service.
• Recommending spare stocking parameters and the quality thereof.
• Oversees the administrative requirements of the Workshop, including warranty
obligations, project formulating and planning, project contractors.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies.
• Diploma in Mechanics or equivalent.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years and above.
• Strong farming or agricultural based business related experience will be an added
advantage
• Willingness to relocate, stay and live on the farm and adapt to the farm life.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, or other ERP systems.
• Possession of strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Clean class 2 or class 4 driver’s license
