We are seeking a skilled WELDER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding and fabricating heavy equipment and machinery components. You will be responsible for welding repairs, modifications, and fabrication on various heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
-Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the required weld configurations, dimensions, and welding parameters.
-Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding and beveling as necessary to ensure proper fit and alignment of metal components prior to welding.
-Setting up and adjusting welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding power sources, electrodes, filler metals, shield gases and other necessary tools and accessories.
-Monitor the welding process to ensure proper penetration, fusion and adherence to quality standards. Perform visual inspections and conduct non destructive testing (NDT) methods, to verify welding quality.

- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on repair projects
-Class One Journeyman trade tested.
-Proven experience as a welder in heavy machinery or industrial settings at least 5 years.
-Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
-Physical ability to handle heavy materials and work in challenging environments
-Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
