Job Description

Applications are solicited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position of warrant clerk that has arisen at our Msasa Branch
Reports to Warrant Administrator
Job Purpose : To ensure that al warranty claims are properly documented and that all verifying crieteria needed by the manufacturer are processed correctly

Duties and Responsibilities

Attends to requests from Dealer network on Warranty jobs
Assess and process all received requests on warrant claims and fowards to Warranty Administrator for reviews
Manages new and old parts inventory for Warrant jobs
Prepares Warranty Claims for uploading into warranty portal
Prepares and Liaise with the accounting department to obtain payment for warranty work for the dealer network and from the TMC
Dispatch of old parts to TSAM/TMC as per guidelines
Makes follow-up with TMC on warranty claims payment status
Maintain good house keeping in the warranty stores
Keep up to date with company announcements and factory recalls
Liaise with manufacturers
Perfoms other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions

Qualifications and Experience

At least 5 O level including maths and English
A levels will be an added advantage
Basic Accounting Experience
Must be computer literate
Meticulous and pays attention to detail/accurate in data capturing
Good mathematical skills and business acumen
Great interpersonal skills
Knowledge of vehicles and parts
Strong organisational and planning skills
