‘Voices’ Field Officers X3

Duty Stations (Murehwa, Kwekwe & Goromonzi)

Position Summary

The Voices Field officers will be responsible for coordinating project activities at district level in Goromonzi, Kwekwe and Murehwa. The desired candidate must reside and work in the implementation district. The incumbent will be the key resource person driving day to day implementation of project activities. They will be responsible for community mobilisation, coordination, and liaison with key district stakeholders and other activities as assigned by team leader. Key responsibilities will include organising, mobilising and sensitising Adolescent Girls and Young Women, and Female Sex Workers on sexual and gender based violence activities, gender and SRHR support network building and reinforcement, collaborating with project staff and key government line ministries in delivering project activities and coordinating access to post violence services for AGYW and FSW.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Facilitate and monitor project interventions and provide follow up support to targeted communities.
• Facilitate mobilisation at a community level and key stakeholder trainings on human rights, sexual reproductive health rights, movement building and sexual gender based violence.
• Field data collection, collation and timely production of project activities and periodic reports.
• Participate in district level planning, learning and coordination meetings.
• Liaise with key district stakeholders and local leadership ward level.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in social sciences, knowledge of community development.
• Willingness to work in rural communities, flexibility and ability to work independently to compliment team efforts.
• Experience in facilitating trainings will be an added advantage.
• At least one year of relevant experience working in community development.
• Past fieldwork experience at least 3 years
• Strong exposure and experience in dealing with gender issues for marginalised populations.
• Ability to speak multiple local languages.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle
• Clean class 4 drivers licence will be an added advantage
