Loss Control Manager

Job Summary

A vacancy for the position of Loss Control Manager has arisen in one of the biggest forestry companies in Manicaland. Suitable candidates who meet the set criteria are invited to Apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

The person wit be in charge of all loss control and risk management 05 welt as the following functions:
 Protection of the Company's assets by formulating polices and guidelines and setting strategies to combat crime at all levels.
 Risk profiling and management of all identified risks including frequent review of security strategies to combat the same.
 Conducting background checks for all new recruits, including contractors and other service provides.
• Attending court proceedings for all civil and criminal cases
arising from security related issues.
 Advising management on security technical matters including strategies to reduce thefts of products and assets.
 Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to loss control.
 Monitoring third party security for contractors and visitors.
 Management of subordinates including the divisional loss control officers and the security personnel across the divisions.
 management of the deployment and rotation of all security staff.
 Develop, educate and train security staff to keep abreast with the latest security and loss control strategies.
 A recognized qualification in loss control and risk management
 AI least 4 years post-graduation experience with a minimum of two years management experience
 Ability to attend court proceedings.
